About Dab (Limanda Limanda )
Dab is very common around Iceland and is most often caught off the south-west coast of the country.
It is a bottom-dwelling fish, most often staying at around 20-40 meters deep.
Can reach a kilo in weight and 40 cm in lenght and is known to have reached the age of 12.

Diet
Feeds mainly on crustaceans and small fishes.

Marketed fresh, dried or salted, smoked and frozen; eaten steamed, fried, broiled, boiled. microwaved and baked
