About Ling (Molva Molva )
Ling is a delicious fish of the cod family which can be found all around Iceland, although it is most often caught off the south-west of the country.
It can be found at depths between 20 and 600 meters and even as far as 1000 meters. Most often found at 100-400 meters deep. Usually younger lings stay above 100 meters. It usually stays near hard ocean bottoms or rocky sandplanes.

Nutritional Value:
Like other members the cod family, saithe is an excellent source of protein and contains plenty of selenium, calcium and potassium.

Diet
